CISA Supports Executive Course in Security, Safety, Home-Building Automation and Urban Application
Milan, Italy, March 2006. CISA and the Polytechnic of Milan work together in developing the Executive Course in Security, Safety, Home-Building Automation and Urban Application. The course is ran by the Management and Technology Laboratory - Gesti.Tec - which is part of the Building Environment Science & Technology Department - BEST.
The BEST Department revisits Territorial & Building Engineering, Industrial Planning and Architecture Technology with an eye on Environmental Sustainability. The Gesti.Tec Laboratory adds an extra focus on Management and ICT.
The course is intended to train innovative professionals to enable them to operate in a complex market, which is becoming increasingly competitive and international. It provides a total of 500 hours of teaching, spread across lectures, analysis of company case studies, exercises, laboratory activities, demonstrations, applied projects and examinations.
The main subjects covered by the course include the planning, installation and management of security & safety systems; the application of wiring & wireless systems for home-building automation; project & risk management; marketing; legal issues.
The Executive Course is also supported by many associations in the security field, such as ANCISS, ANIE and Assosicurezza, which greatly contribute to the development of a more security-conscious culture and positive relations within this field.
