Humanitas Clinical Institute upgrades Security & Safety with Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies

Cisa, Ingersoll Rand Security Technolgies European Headquarters, supplies a master key system for the 2,300 gates and entrances of the Humanitas Clinical Institute in Rozzano. Built in 1996 over an area of 60,000 square meters south of Milan, the Institute is one of Italy's most specialized and advanced hospitals.

The new master key system has been designed by Cisa especially for Humanitas. Throughout each step, the Master Key Systems Department has been working jointly with the Marketing and Sales Departments, and with Cisa's Specification Manager and Solution Partner. Thanks to the efforts of this team, Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies was able to match perfectly the Institute's requirements.

Supply and installation have been managed directly by the Cisa Solution Partner Fratelli Torchio, Milan. The Solution Partner will also provide assistance for the master key system and for further installation and replacement of Cisa panic bars and door closers.

The Clinical Institute had previously adopted a master key system featuring a Cisa C2000 cylinder. With Cisa's new ASTRAL cylinder the hospital's security & safety has now been significantly upgraded. Moreover, Cisa services have remarkably added value to this supply.

Marco Massaron, Technical Director of the Institute, and Patrizia Villa, Executive Manager, emphasize Cisa's preeminent role in providing a complete solution for the Institute. "Every single key and cylinder has been marked according to our directions so that we could exactly identify the department in which they were to be installed. In order to manage the assignment of keys to our 1,500 staff members, Cisa has also supplied us with the Lockbase Manager software and trained us to use it."

The Humanitas Clinical Institute privileges human relations, emphasizing the patient's importance and dignity as a person. This model has been applied coherently in the doctor patient relationship, as well as in the architectural project and distribution of internal areas. Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies is proud to have given its contribution to the Humanitas project by renewing and upgrading the Institute's Security & Safety.
