Wavemode, the new contactless locking system for hotels and resorts
Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies is proud to present wavemode, Cisa's innovative electronic locking system for hotels and resorts featuring contactless proximity technology.
Wavemode combines the most advanced security technology with unique Italian design. Elegant and essential, with its compact size, wavemode easily blends in all environments. Its compatibility with a wide array of trims and handles makes it a flexible locking system that has no impact on the hotel's style and personality.
But wavemode is not only a synonym for elegance and style; wavemode means security and reliability in a simple way. The contactless technology used sets a whole new standard in the level of security and user-friendliness for which Cisa received the prestigious Security & Safety Award 2006 at the Sicurtech Expo in Milan, Italy.
Cards work on radio frequency and cannot be cloned. Without slide-in or slide-through mechanisms, guests have immediate access to their rooms by simply waving their card on the proximity reader. Absolutely straightforward and intuitive to use, wavemode also allows guests to signal their presence in the room by the press of a button. Outside, staff can check room occupancy at a glance. This makes the usual do not disturb sign or other guest privacy device outdated.
Contactless technology is especially recommended for outdoor facilities, in which a high degree of resistance against atmospheric agents is needed. Contactless technology also drives down maintenance costs as it dramatically reduces the wear and tear of both the cards and readers.
"Wavemode is getting positive feedback from existing and prospective customers", says Raffaele Flora, Security Category Director for Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies European-Served Area. "This is a true example of how we are stronger collectively as a company providing innovative solutions for our customers".
