Key arrangements systems
Live in a detached house? Solution: KA - Keyed Alike system. Open your gate, garage and main entrance with just one key.
Live in an apartment building? Solution: CE - Common Entrance system. Every tenant can have just one key for all communal entrances (gate, main entrance, etc.), but cannot enter door of other apartments of course! The main building entrance can in turn be opened by a servant key which, obviously, does not open the doors of the apartments.
... and in the workplace? Solution: MK - Master Key system. Buildings which require hierarchical access control, (companies, government buildings, hospitals, etc), can choose a Master Key system. For example, senior management could be able to open all doors and employees would only be able to open certain designated doors.
Those are just some of the configurations available with CISA cylinders, mainly Astral, AP3 S and RS3.
To function satisfactorily, the master key system needs to be professionally managed. This is why CISA asks its partners to specify the system using a key plan: a map which, when correctly drawn up, helps to optimise lead times (from order to installation) and ensures that the master key system meets the user's specific requirements.
