The environmental impact of all CISA products is certified by the Environmental Product Declaration
EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certificates are verified and registered documents which communicate transparent and comparable information about the life cycle environmental impact of a product.
These certificates meet the need to produce goods which protect our planet’s resources and which have a lower environmental impact. Manufacturers of locks, hardware, handles and other accessories were quick to come on board and endorse this European project.
There are currently 14 categories of EPDs, the ones relevant to CISA products and solutions are:
CISA is awarded EPDs for all its products in their respective categories on the basis of its ISO 14025 and EN 15804 environmental declarations.
