New EMEA Testing Lab, with a state-of-the-art anechoic chamber

Panoramica laboratorio

Test maniglioni

The laboratory has a thirty-year-old history and is the only accredited company lab in the Italian locksmith sector.

First born in 1990 to test CISA products, it gained European Accreditation in December 2014 (Number 1495L). The laboratory carries out testing for product development and certification, mainly for Allegion, but also for third-party companies to whom it guarantees complete impartiality and confidentiality.

The most recent investment for the CISA testing lab is an anechoic chamber for measuring electromagnetic waves issuing from electronic devices, as required by the RED (Radio Equipment Directive) 2014/53/UE and previously R&TTE 1999/5/EC. The new equipment enables the lab to monitor electromagnetic emissions to protect both public health and the environment.
