No, they are fixed directly onto the door; an adapter kit, which must be ordered separately, is required to install the outside access device.

Yes, the new Alpha panic exit devices use some of the same fixing holes as the previous FAST models, with the exception of the additional locking points (see section 3 of the FAQs). Refer to the Digital Guide on how to replace the old models with the new ones.

Yes, the new Alpha Push and Touch panic exit devices are interchangeable with each other and with the previous versions of the FAST series.

ALPHA PANIC EXIT DEVICE INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT

In addition to the specifications indicated in the Standard, the Alpha panic exit device can be installed on doors (leafs) with a maximum width of 1.6 m and a maximum height of 3.5 m, as stated in the instruction leaflet.

Alpha can be used in environments with temperatures ranging from -10 °C to + 60 °C, subject to periodic checks, as indicated in the instruction leaflet.

No, the height of Alpha Push is slightly greater but within the tolerance specified by the standard.

Yes, the height is the same as FAST Touch.
